IMPORTANT NOTICE: TEMPORARY PAUSE IN PRINTING SERVICES

UAPB Printing Services would like to make the campus community aware of two upcoming weeks when printing production will be temporarily paused:

September 14–18, 2026
October 15–23, 2026

During these periods, printing production will not be available. Departments are encouraged to plan ahead and submit print requests early, especially for time-sensitive projects, events, and other materials needed during or immediately following these dates.

Please allow adequate time for your request to be processed and completed before the scheduled pause.

Mail Services will continue normal operations during these periods.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us serve the campus community more efficiently.

Factors Influencing Timelines:

• Current Print Queue: Number of jobs currently being worked on.
• Job Size & Quantity: Larger or high-volume requests may take longer.
• Finishing Requirements: Special finishing needs can extend production time.
• Date Needed: Rush jobs may impact completion times.
• Supply Orders: Requests that require special supplies may face delays.
• High Peak Times: Expect longer timelines during busy periods such as Homecoming, End of the Year, and Annual University Programs.

Important Notes:

• You will be notified via email within 24 hours of submitting your request if your timeline cannot be accommodated.
• Proof Approval: If a hard copy proof is requested, your print job will not enter the production queue until the proof is signed off. The timeline for your job begins after proof approval.
• Please Note: Do not call to inquire about how long it will take to complete a print request without actually submitting it. We must have your print job in our shop to provide your department with an accurate completion date and time.
